BRIGHTON, Colo. - The Aggies from Nebraska met the Rams from Colorado in a first-time collegiate shooting sports event in Colorado.

CURTIS, Neb. – Ten collegiate Aggies will be honored Saturday for their high school careers in FFA when the 91st annual National FFA Convention and Expo reaches its finale in Indianapolis.

The 10 FFA leaders, who are currently students at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, will be receiving an American Farmer Degree, one of the highest awards earned by FFA members.

Nebraska agriculture takes to the national stage this week in Indianapolis and the NCTA Aggies will be there among an anticipated 63,000 participants.

Aggie students at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture were on Fall Break earlier this week.

Students were back on campus with classes resuming Wednesday.

Most were to travel home and recharge their batteries for a four-day weekend starting after classes ended last Friday.

The break for University of Nebraska students at five campuses marked the 8-week or half-way point in the fall semester.

CURTIS, Neb. - The annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month Extravaganza sponsored by the NCTA Collegiate Cattlemen Club is Thursday. 

Races featuring horses and riders will begin at 7 p.m. at the indoor arena of the Livestock Teaching Center on the campus of the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.
