BROKEN BOW, Neb. – Aggie alumni are returning to the Nebraska Sandhills for a college reunion weekend in June.

Broken Bow will host graduates, their families and friends of the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis, and its predecessor, the University of Nebraska School of Technical Agriculture, on June 22-23, said Ann Ramm Bruntz, president-elect of the Aggie Alumni Association.

Chase Stanley, native of Raymond, exemplifies workforce development at NCTA. He graduated May 2 with a certificate in irrigation technology. Enthusiasm is high for year-end programs and graduation events on May 1 and 2.

As we prepare for final exams starting Thursday, our veterinary technology students out on internships are saying goodbye to their employers and animal care settings.

CURTIS, Neb. – An agricultural graduate and family farmer from Dodge, Nebraska, will deliver the 2019 commencement address at the University of Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis.

Joan (Wieczorek) Ruskamp, a 1980 alumna, will join University of Nebraska leaders in delivering messages at the 1:30 p.m. commencement on Thursday, May 2, announced Ron Rosati, NCTA dean.

CURTIS, Neb. – Disaster relief for Nebraska farmers and ranchers continues to roll onto the campus of the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis.

 Baled hay, livestock feed and fencing supplies are being collected at the NCTA for distribution to livestock operations affected by the March 13-15 blizzard and catastrophic flooding.

Sunday kicked off National Agriculture Week, a time when across America we celebrate the contributions of farmers and ranchers, and the affiliated industries which keep us fed, clothed, and ensured of energy resources.

From March 10-16, during National Agriculture Week, the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture celebrates as one of the thousands of crops and livestock producers in the state’s largest industry.

Three faculty members were honored recently with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Parent Association certificates of merit for the 2018 academic year, said NCTA Dean Ron Rosati.
