LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska Rodeo Week features collegiate rodeo action this weekend in Lincoln.
The Aggie Rodeo Team from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis has 10 athletes heading to the Friday and Saturday contest at the Lancaster Event Center.
Coach Taylor Rossenbach, an NCTA rodeo alumnus, active team roper, and businessman in Curtis, said the Aggie students are ready for competitive action.

Kallie Hilker has been named the Aggie of the Month for March 2018 at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis.
The native of Cambridge, Nebraska, is studying veterinary technology and is currently completing her veterinary technician internship requirement with Hilltop Veterinary Clinic in Kearney.
She will graduate on May 3 from NCTA, work at the clinic in Kearney this summer, and then plans to return to campus in August to add a degree in agribusiness management.

CURTIS, Neb. – Students in Animal Science and Agriculture Education at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture are hosting a year-end dinner and awards night on April 26.
Friends and families of four “traveling” teams of Aggie Rodeo, Aggie Shotgun Sports, NCTA Livestock Judging and the NCTA Ranch Horse Team will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Curtis Community Center.
Students are from animal science, equine management, agricultural education and academic enrichment teams.

CURTIS, Neb. – Twenty five Aggie students from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis will be putting their academic skills to the test this week at a national collegiate event.
Students from the two-year University of Nebraska institution are entered in 11 different academic and skills contests, and the overall general “Agriculture Knowledge Bowl” of the North American Colleges and Teachers in Agriculture.

The 90th annual Nebraska State FFA Convention is in Lincoln this week. This is a great tradition of bringing together one of America’s greatest agricultural youth programs.
Eleven students from the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture are part of the activities in our state’s Capital City. NCTA Aggie students are serving as volunteers, lending a hand with the contests and networking with Nebraska’s agricultural students in the impressive venue at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Campus life programs and residence halls have a new manager at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.
Erika Arambula coordinates student housing, activities for students who lives in the three NCTA residence halls, and supervises a team of 12 residence assistants. She joined the NCTA staff in early March.
“We welcome Erika to our student services team and value the three and half years of experience she has with residence life during her college career,” said Jennifer McConville, NCTA associate dean
